This Saturday Larry will show you how to get the richest flavours and most tender results from slow-cooking.
He'll feature two classic French recipes: the Languedoc dish, Boeuf en Daube - a delicious combination of beef, red wine and herbs, and the Alsatian dish, Choucroute Garni, with its unique combination of sauerkraut and charcuterie - sausages, cured meats - and potatoes, slow cooked in a sweet white wine.
Both dishes are great winter fare, extremely satisfying, easy to prepare and full of flavour.
