Guided Introductory Bird Walk for Families

Learn how to identify lots of common backyard birds by their songs and their appearance. Please bring binoculars, if you have them. Please pre-register by emailing yncns@yahoo.ca

Meet at Jerry Lawrence Provincial Park (formerly Lewis Lake Provincial Park).

We will walk the “picnic site loop” trail. It is a good spot for observing lots of birds.

Directions from Highway 103:

• Take Exit 5. Follow Route 333 for 2 km to Upper Tantallon.
  Then take Route 3 east for 2 km to the park entrance.

OR

• Take Exit 4. Follow Route 3 for 6 km west to the park entrance.

The St Margaret’s Bay YNC will have one Saturday morning Workshop each month at the Tantallon Public Library and one Sunday afternoon Field Trip each month. Children/families are welcome to join the Young Naturalists Club at ANY TIME throughout the year. All events are FREE!
